Bindhyabasini Temple
Bindhyabasini Temple is one of the oldest and most revered Hindu temples in Pokhara. Dedicated to Goddess Bindhyabasini (a form of Goddess Durga/Bhagwati), the temple is situated on a small hill in Miruwa, Pokhara, offering beautiful views of the city and the Annapurna mountain range. The temple dates back to approximately the 18th century and is a major religious and cultural landmark in western Nepal.

Religious Importance
According to local legend, the idol of Goddess Bindhyabasini was brought from Vindhyachal in India. When the idol could not be moved from its present location in Pokhara, it was considered a divine sign, and the temple was established there. The temple remains an important Shakti Peeth and attracts thousands of devotees during Dashain, Navaratri, and other Hindu festivals.
